We really want you to get the maximum benefit from your experience with us at the Essential Spa The general information and guidelines below will help you to achieve this. Walk into the Essential Spa and you will be greeted by one of our reception team.
Arriving early is a great idea as you can take your time and relax before your appointment and complete our health and well-being questionnaire.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment you will be offered the rest of your appointment at the full price, the amount of time that you are late will be deducted from your treatment time, so as not to disrupt the following customers. We will do everything we can so that you can enjoy the remainder of your treatment.
Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any handbags, purses or valuables. We recommend that you leave valuables such as jewelry at home as you will be asked to remove it during your treatment.
Please let us know when booking your treatment if you are under a doctor’s care for any medical condition and before your treatment if you have any concerns regarding your health or well-being. Please notify us upon booking if you are pregnant so that we can advise on treatments and customize techniques that are safe for pregnancy. • Pregnancy • Breast Feeding • High/Low Blood Pressure • Heart Conditions/Pace Makers • Thyroid conditions • Diabetes • Asthma – we recommend you bring your inhaler with you where needed. • Epilepsy – if you have had an epileptic fit in the last 5 year we cannot treat you with any massage, facial or body wrap treatments. • Cancer – If you are currently undergoing treatment for cancer or have been receiving treatment for please ask you’re a doctor’s note prior to arriving for treatment.
To make the most out of your time with us and in respect for other guests, please ensure your mobile phone is switched off during your visit.
Due to strict Health & Safety guidelines, children are not permitted in any of the treatment rooms.
We endeavor to make sure all of our clients receive the very best service and experience possible, and your feedback is extremely important to us. Bookings and Payments
All treatments require payment at the time of booking. We accept Cash, Debit or Credit Card, but not American Express. You may also pay with Spa Finder or Wahanda Vouchers; please check the voucher is valid before booking your appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to your booking time. Where 48 hours’ notice is not given, 50% of your appointment fee will be charged and the account must be settled before any further bookings can be made. If you cancel an appointment with out 24 hours’ notice 100% of the booking fee is charged to your account and becomes non-refundable.
